8-Year-Old Girl Shot With Arrow In Berkeley

While sitting on whale sculpture at Lawrence Hall of Science, just above the UC Berkeley campus, an 8-year-old girl was shot in the leg with an arrow. Which: what?! She did not suffer any life-threatening injuries, thankfully, but was sent to a local hospital to have the arrow removed.

"The arrow did not appear to be a toy, and it wasn't immediately known whether the shooter hit the girl accidentally or on purpose," reports the Chronicle.

No arrests have been made. We'll keep you updated as soon as we know more or, God forbid, there's a crazy person at large shooting people with arrows.
