St. Patty’s Day weekend is upon us, and what kinds of friends would we be if we didn’t help you blackout this weekend?

You could start tonight at RN74 where Happy Hour starts at 4pm with $5 Irish beers, $7 Irish whiskey specialty cocktails, and $7 pub grub (including a corned beef appetizer).

Tomorrow, the expected pub crawls, block parties, and public urination will be in full effect and continue clear through Monday. HuffPo has a list/warning of Irish bars all around the city that are guaranteed to be packed. Some of our favorites? The Sunset's Durty Nelly’s, and the Haight’s Danny Coyle’s and Mad Dog in the Fog.

Food-wise, SliderBar in the Castro will offer a “St.” Fatty Patty (Kobe beef patty, gem lettuce, tomatoes, mayo on an artisan white bun), “Irish Spuds” (fries with dips) and a green beer for $10 all weekend. And Cole Valley’s retro Ice Cream Bar has some Irish-inspired desserts, with Guiness in them: The Dublin Honey (Guinness, caramelized honey ice cream, chocolate syrup, tawny port) and Guinness brown-bread ice cream (Guinness ice cream with chunks of Irish soda bread). Potato leek soup with Irish brown bread and again, corned beef plate appear booze-less and are available through the weekend.

Have a sloppy yet safe weekend, folks!
