Heads-up, seasonal depressives: Our evenings will start stretching slightly longer when Daylight Savings Time kicks in this Sunday at 2 a.m. While we will have to part with an hour of sleep this weekend, we can at least find a tiny bit of hope in the fact that the only clock we'll have to set will be the one on the microwave (We all use our iPhones as alarm clocks now, yes?) and we'll be able to make it home from work before the sun has completely melted into the Pacific.
More good news: this week's rains seem to have subsided, leaving us with scattered clouds and 60-ish temperatures for at least the next week or so. Time to start sneaking in park days and cherishing your lazy Sundays for the next few months, before the inevitable June gloom hits and throws us all into another midsummer ennui.
