This week, Berkeley Rep announced six of the plays in the upcoming 2013-14 season, and among them will be the acclaimed Tony Kushner play, The Intelligent Homosexual’s Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures, which will be making its West Coast debut. Also on the schedule, around the holidays, will be England's Kneehigh Theatre Company — last here with the well loved Wild Bride — performing their latest, Tristan & Yseult.

Kushner's play has been described by the AP as "big, noisy, sexy," and it "uses a Brooklyn family to expose a place one is meant to avoid at polite cocktail parties: The battleground where politics and personal lives overlap and buckle." Of course, this is well over a year off, with a run from May 16 to July 7, 2014, but still you can get excited.

Tristan & Yseult will run from November 22, 2013 to January 5, 2014, and the London Telegraph has said that it's "as cheeky as a kid and wild as the wind."

Also coming is a new comedy from Steven Epp, last seen in the hilarious A Doctor In Spite of Himself, titled Accidental Death of an Anarchist.

See the rest of the upcoming schedule here. Ticket packages, at least for those over the age of 30 and under 65, start at $125.
