Armistead Maupin Has A 'Stalker'

Tales of the City author - and therefore San Francisco's unofficial novelist laureate - Armistead Maupin, as you may recall, relocated full-time with husband Christopher Turner to Santa Fe last summer. Well, he's been quite prolific with the Facebook photos this winter, and today on his fan page he reveals that he and Chris have noticed a "stalker" recently.

"Chris spotted him at the bar at La Boca, and yesterday there he was again at the Paws Plaza dog groomers. Enough, Sam Shepard, we're onto you."

So, yes, the author of The Night Listener has met the the author of True West, at least in passing, at the dog groomer.

Anyway, "like" his page and you too can be treated to such updates, like this one about a photo of Chris by a river. "Chris took photos today at Big Eddy Pullout (yes, that's what it's called) along the Chama River."
