Local farmers should be alerted that an apparently drowned cow washed up on the shore on the northern end of Half Moon Bay State Beach over the weekend and was discovered this morning by a mother and her six-year-old daughter out for a walk.
The dead cow was an unusual sight, even for the Peninsula Humane Society/SPCA, and they're apparently heading to clean up the situation now, as the San Carlos Patch reports.
It's unclear where, or how, the cow ended up in the water.
