Police have released the sketch of a man suspected of trying to kidnap a 14-year-old girl in Oakland this week. The girl in question was walking home from school alone at around 4:30 p.m. on Monday in the 1400 block of 103rd Avenue "when police said a man grabbed her from behind and tried to force her into a red Dodge Ram pickup truck parked nearby."

Even more sickening was that another man was in the truck during the attempted kidnapping. Fortunately, the girl managed to struggle free. Oakland Tribune has descriptions of the two suspects:

The man who grabbed her is described as white, mid to late 20s, tall, about 140 to 150 pounds with a thin build, police said. He had shoulder length blonde hair and was clean shaven. He wore a white T-shirt, black pants and brown work shoes.

The driver was described as white, with the same general characteristics as the other suspect. He had a goatee and short brown spiked hair. Police do not have a sketch of the driver at this time.
