Watch the Richmond Wrecking Belles take on the San Francisco ShEvil Dead in The B.ay A.rea D.erby (B.A.D.) Girls championship bout Saturday, August 3rd at the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond. When they met earlier this season, ShEvil defeated the Belles by a narrow margin of four points. No doubt this year’s championship bout will be a wide-eyed, nail-biter. Can the Belles hang on to the championship title for the fifth consecutive year? Or will the Dead, undefeated all season, steal the title in their first championship bout since 2007?

“We have no doubt that this game will truly be a battle until the very last whistle.” ShEvil Dead captain Kimfectious acknowledges. “The ShEvolution has taken years, we have risen from the ashes and confetti to become athletes. For us, the trophy is but a symbol of our hard work and DEADication,”

For the Belles, “the formula for our success is our ability to execute as a team, and the level of personal accountability to which we hold our skaters,” captain Lusty Malice contends. “This team is willing to fight tooth and nail to take home that trophy. We know what it takes to win (we’ve done it for five years), and we plan on bringing it.”

Doors for Bay Area’s Championship bout will open to the public at 6:00pm with first whistle at 7:30pm. General admission tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door.
