FILM: The Alliance Française of San Francisco's French Cinema Night kicks off family-themed month with C.R.A.Z.Y., which tells the story of Zac, a young gay man dealing with homophobia and heterosexism while growing up with four brothers and a conservative father in 1960s and 1970s Quebec. MUSIC: Mezzanine presents the Cream of Beat Reunion Party 2012 Part 1, which includes live performances by Fat Lip of the Pharcyde and RBL Posse featuring Black C, along with a huge line-up of DJs spinning hip-hop, R&B, soul and dancehall reggae from the beginning to 1996 only. ART: It's another installment of the popular So You Think You Can Paint?, in which the organizers provide the space, paint, brushes, tunes, cheap drinks and a ton of wall space for participants to paint as many 8 foot pieces as possible by 11 p.m. The event includes live performances by Beached Palms, Shenanigans Remedy, and Tempest Fujit.
