A 34-year-old man was shocked with a stun gun and lost consciousness Saturday night, only to awaken with a pain in his abdomen and his wallet and iPod missing. There was also a Taser lying on the ground next to him. Please don't let this be a new crime trend!

SF Appeal has already dubbed the unknown suspect the "Taser Wielding Bandit," but let's just hope this was an isolated incident. The victim was walking near the intersection of Noriega and the Great Highway just after dark, around 9:30 p.m.

Police are seeking tips and information about the robbery, and there are currently no leads or suspects. As always, call 415-575-4444 or text TIP411 if you know anything.
