SFist Tonight, 5/26: SF PopFest 2012

MUSIC: The weekend-long PopFest 2012 continues with an afternoon show at the Knockout, featuring a line-up of bands, DJs, and an indiepop dance party, followed by a show at the Hemlock later tonight. (4 p.m., The Knockout, 3223 Mission Street // 8:30 p.m., Hemlock Tavern, 1131 Polk Street)

CLUB: This month's Bootie SF will feature a Punk Prom costume contest, a live performance by Smash-Up Derby, followed by a midnight mash-up show with Ya-Ya, and tunes by DJs Adrian, Mysterious D, Dada, and more. (9 p.m., DNA Lounge, 375 Eleventh Street)

FILM: The Presidio Trust and the Walt Disney Family Museum present a screening of It Came from Beneath the Sea, as part of its Golden Gate Bridge 75th anniversary commemorative film festival. The film features a giant octopus, whose feeding habits have been affected by radiation from H-Bomb tests, rises from the Mindanao Deep to terrorize the California Coast. (6 p.m., Presidio, Main Post Lawn, 103 Montgomery Street)
