TALK: S.F. Art Institute presents alumnus and local artist Jeremy Fish, who will be discussing the development of his career as a painter and illustrator. Aesop Rock describes Fish's work as "rooted in an alternate world—a world where gnomes travel via saddled dachshund-back and birds of all nations hatch adorned with the heads and hairstyles of every human stereotype imaginable." FILM: El Clásico - More Than a Game, the first American film about the historic soccer rivalry between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, which was created by filmmaker Kelly Candaele (A League of Their Own) and features commentary from European league stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Bay Area-based writer Daniel Alarcón and many more, makes its Bay Area premiere tonight at the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts.
