MUSIC: SF-based global mashup group Rupa & the April Fishes join forces with bike music tour veterans Shake Your Peace! and bioregionalists Planet Drum for the Bay Rising Tour, in which the bands and crew carry all their gear on bikes and perform using a pedal-powered sound system. FILM: Mission Loc@l hosts its 1st Annual Film Festival, featuring a series of short films up to 10 minutes long, including "a silent dance film, a story about a romantic puppet who gets dumped by his human girlfriend, a profile of a Mission DJ who works at one of SF’s independent radio stations, a look at the Mission’s gangs and much more."
