On Tuesday afternoon, a pedestrian crossing Eddy Street at Leavenworth in the Tenderloin was struck by a shuttle bus in the intersection. The accident, which left the victim, pinned under the shuttle for twenty minutes until fire crews could get him out, was caught on film by a security camera on the corner and dug up by the news team at KRON 4 yesterday. Heads up, it's pretty harrowing:

The victim was taken to a local hospital and although he reportedly broke "a lot" of bones, his injuries are considered non-life threatening. The driver was also taken to a hospital after he began to suffer an unspecified medical condition of his own. According to SFPD, the driver cooperated with authorities and has not been arrested.
