Mechanical Problems On Muni Underground Are Mucking Up Your Evening Commute

Around 4:15 p.m. this afternoon Muni is reporting some mechanical problems at Church station are delaying inbound K/T, L and M lines on the Muni Metro. If you're headed from West Portal to Van Ness, you'll want to stay above ground and hop one of the replacement shuttles to get you downtown.

Things weren't much better around Van Ness for a minute there either: the transit agency also reported a downed overhead wire at the intersection with Market Street that was causing delays on the 6, 47 and 71 lines and forcing switchbacks on the 49 and F lines. But all that seems to be cleared up now.
