FILM: SF Film Society presents Octubre, about a brusque and graceless moneylender whose illegitimate infant lands on his doorstep, leading to the man's comical "attempts to do business while holding the crying baby, his repeated efforts to pass off a counterfeit note, and a particularly grim birthday party." MUSIC II: British singer-songwriter VV Brown, will be at the Rickshaw promoting her latest album, Lollipops & Politics, which is said to range "from the anthemic punk template of The Clash to the experimental electronica of The Knife."
