Gary Scott Holland, the 43-year-old parolee and alleged Satanist who is accused of posing as a PG&E worker to invade the Marina apartment of Kate Horan and murder her, may be sucking it up and taking a plea deal tomorrow, according to prosecutors who spoke to the Examiner. Holland pleaded not guilty a year ago to the October 29, 2010 crime, and details of the current plea bargain have not been released.

Kathleen "Kate" Horan, the socialite, jewelry business owner, and fashion writer, was 46 at the time of her murder. Holland had been playing on residual fears following the San Bruno explosion of last September to enter the building, claiming he was investigating a possible gas leak. He was later found by police lying in some bushes in Sutro Park.
