Some late news from Candlestick: two groups of opposing fans at Saturday's Cal vs. Fresno State game got in to something of a shouting match in the parking lots before a fight broke. The melee left one victim unconscious and bleeding.

Officers from the Bayview Police Station already have a suspect in custody. Unlike the violent brawls that occurred inside and outside the Raiders-Niners preseason game a few weeks back, the suspect fessed up to the attack.

Both the victim and the suspect were 26 years old, so it's probably safe to assume this wasn't an incident of undergrad-on-undergrad violence.

Meanwhile, inside the stadium, the Cal Bears ended up defeating Fresno State 36-21.
