On the heels of Virginia's big (?) earthquake, the Bay Area felt a 3.6 tremor hit late Tuesday night. By comparison, the quake was small and occurred a little before 11:40 pm. A few (snide yet choice) remarks from our late-night Facebook commenters report:
Mary Teri Taylor, "And the rocking and rolling continues, coast to coast :-) We just had an earthquake. Just a 3.6"
Leo Mikulich, "Tsunami on the coast of San Francisco!"
Dino Ray, "There was an earthquake? I thought I just farted."
Geoff King, "I DIDN'T FEEL THE EARTHQUAKE BECAUSE I'M HELLA BAY AREA."
And from SFist's own Jerry James Stone, "Whoa! 3.9 earthquake just wiggled San Francisco! Raise your hand if you felt it."
According to Google, the quake was centered in the East Bay near San Leandro around 11:40 p.m.
So what about you? Did you feel it?
