Bacon Bacon In <s>the Castro</s> Hayes Valley Today [UPDATE]

Yes, we've all reached a saturation point with all things bacon -- don't even get us started on this season's Big Brother -- except for its taste. It still tastes remarkable. It just does. So, food trend writing be damned, we feel it out duty to tell you that Bacon Bacon will serve lunch in the Castro today.

They'll serve up such smokey meat-tinged items as grilled cheese laced with tomato and bacon jam, spicy belly fries (topped w/ pork belly trimmings), a bacon bouquet (a bunch of bacon bundled like flowers), as well as draft root beer and dessert treats like chocolate-covered bacon.

The noted bacon truck will be at Market and Castro from 11:45-2:30pm.

Update: Looks like they're suddenly and unexpectedly heading to Hayes Valley instead.
