Pride isn't the only celebration this weekend: a group of (presumably not Pride-related) flash mobbers will be commemorating the 2nd anniversary of Michael Jackson's death with a series of Thriller dances across town tomorrow afternoon.

The organizers, who apparently didn't get the memo that neither flash mobs nor MJ nostalgia are really that cool anymore, have scheduled zombie-like afternoon performances at the Ferry Plaza, Powell Street Cable Car turnaround, Union Square and - most notably - the corner of Castro and Market right in the middle of Pink Saturday at 5 p.m. Feel free to join in or roll your eyes as appropriate to your level of inebriation at that point.
