Two people were killed and four wounded early Monday morning outside Sweet Jimmie's near Jack London Square. The deadly shootings, it seems, were sparked by the bouncer refusing to admit several patrons. "Several men in a car pulled up to the club and tried to get into the club but were denied entry, authorities said. One of the men became angry, pulled out an assault rifle and opened fire," reports the Chronicle.
The names of the two men who were shot and killed have not been released. Four other wounded were whisked to Highland Hospital in Oakland.
No arrests have been made.
Two hours later at Kimball's, located at 522 2nd Street in Jack London Square, another shooting happened just a few blocks away from the first incident. One man "was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries," repots KTVU.
