Two Minor Quakes Hit Santa Clara County

Santa Clara County shook (again) this morning after two small earthquakes hit the area, one with a magnitude of 3.3 and the other boasting a mild 2.1. "According to the USGS, at 6:28 a.m. the 3.3 magnitude quake rattled an area north of Henry W. Coe State Park in the foothills about 20 miles east of San Jose," SF Appeal reports. "The tremor had a depth of 3.8 miles, and is the third and largest quake in the region in the past nine hours, according to the USGS." [Appeal]
