During last night's Pink Saturday festivities in the Castro, three people were shot at Market and Castro Streets. Police responded to reports of gunfire at around 11:30 p.m. BCN (via CBS 5) reports, "the most seriously injured victim, a 19-year-old male, was shot in the torso and transported to a local hospital," and a 27-year-old male and a 19-year-old female were each shot in the leg. "They were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries."

Word is the shooting wasn't an anti-gay issue, specifically. FOX40 sent out the following Twitter message, "Pink Saturday Castro shooting was personal conflict, not related to gay pride events, eyewitnesses report.

The suspect, a 19-year-old man, was arrested at the scene. Police are still investigating the motive.

The shooting occurred on a night "tens of thousands of revelers," (!) according to California Beat, were celebrating Pink Saturday, the annual pre-Gay Pride party that draws people from around the world.

Did anyone see what happened?

Update: The medical examiner's office reports that one of the shooting victims, 19-year-old Stephen Powell died from his injuries. Powell was allegedly shot in the torso chest four times.
