Mission/Carjacking: Last night at 21st and Folsom, a 53-year-old man was sitting in his parked vehicle when a suspect, believed to be in his 30s, yanked the victim out of his vehicle, tossed him to the ground, and stole his car. According to SFPD, the victim noticed a handgun in the suspect’s possession before he fled the scene in the poor guy’s vehicle. No arrests have been made.
Ingleside/Robbery: At Geneva and Pasadena on Wednesday, a 27-year-old Asian man was attacked with a "caustic chemical" by three suspects (three black men in their 20s). According to police, "Two suspects held onto the victim while the third suspect sprayed the victim in the eyes with caustic chemical. The suspects then threw the victim to the ground and robbed him of his wallet, wallet contents and cash." The Victim was treated at scene and released. No arrests have been made.
Market Street/Drunk Driving: Yikes! On Market Street between 7th and 8th Streets, an allegedly wasted driver ran a stop sign and struck a bicyclist before fleeing the scene. He then crossed Market at 8th Street and broadsided a vehicle carrying four passengers before, once again, taking off. And finally, the drunk suspect, according to police, then "collides with a second vehicle at 7th & Natoma, exits vehicle and fled from the scene on foot before being apprehended by officers at Mission & 6th."
