Moments away from writing a curt post about the lack of Donna Sachet covering this year's Gay Pride Parade, the fine homosexuals at the Bay Area Reporter report that, wait, yes, Sachet will be back this year to cover the melange of queers that gather annually along Market Street. Praise Jesus, indeed.

Last year's TV broadcast of the Gay Pride Parade, if you recall, blew. And not in a good way. Why? Because they gave up our regular co-hosts Sachet and Jan Wahl for Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's Jai Rodriguez who, among other blunders, had never even heard of Tom Ammiano.

Rodriguez was "a little out of his element," Sachet explained to the BAR. And how.

This year the Castro drag celebrity will co-host with real-life lesbian Michelle Meow and openly journalistic Sebastian Kunz. But, you know, most people will be tuning in for Sachet. And the Wells Fargo floats, etc.

Anyway, details: SFPrideLive.com will air the parade live on Sunday, June 27 at 9:30 a.m. Also, a live broadcast can be seen on Comcast Hometown Network, cable channel 104. Then, after editing out potential penis and boob shots, KOFY TV20 will air a family-friendly version of the parade at 8 p.m.
