We've been avoiding posting about the sweet happy hour deal at Cup A Joe Coffeehouse for fear of it getting too popular, but we need your help to keep the deal going (read further).

Cup A Joe, the only Lower Nob Hill location with a significant amount of outside seats, offers ten choices of $1.95 drafts daily from 3 to 10 p.m. (So, there you go, make it even harder for us to score a table.)

Nothing beats sipping a cold beverage on a sunny day (unlike this particular day) while smirking over the myriad of Academy of Art students' "quirky" outfits passing by.

But the much-appreciated drinking-beer-outside privilege is under threat, due to one unappreciative neighbor trying to keep the beer-drinking inside. We're not sure how drinking beer outside is much different than coffee, except beer adds a few decibels of noise? Regardless, the venue closes at 10 p.m.

Cup-A-Joe has a petition on their counter for customers to show their support. So, stop in, grab a beer, and sign the petition. Then be sure to toast the NIMBY.

Edit: We hear working at Cup A Joe might not be so fun.
