As noted in SFist This Weekend and The Baby-ry Coast, there are lots of family activities to be had this weekend. Here are a couple of more that are happening tomorrow:
The hugely popular Non Stop Bhangra at The Rickshaw Stop presents the brand-new daytime Mini Non Stop Bhangra, suitable for the whole family. Dholrhythms Dance Company will teach the kids the Bollywood fueled beats of Bhangra, so you can all shake your hips and stomp your feet together with lots of other families.
A loyal reader sent us info about the monthly Sensory Friendly Film event for autistic children, their neurotypical siblings, and kids with other disabilities at AMC Van Ness. Tomorrow morning's feature is How to Train Your Dragon. The movie auditorium's lights are brought up and the sound turned down, families are welcome to bring their own gluten-free, casein-free snacks, and no previews or advertisements will be shown before the movie. Additionally, audience members are welcome to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing. Sounds like a fun time!
