First, did you know that the Haight has been overrun by bullies? And no one in the neighborhood is fighting back? Sadly, this might be the case, at least according to C.W. Nevius. "They're young, aggressive bullies who confront residents, sit on the sidewalks with pit bulls, and even prey on small-time marijuana dealers," the Chron scribe describes.

Pit bulls, we'd like to point out, can make great pets. We've discussed this before.

Anyway, as Curbed too noted, the local police captain wants the city to try some sort of "sit/lie law," which would ban sitting and/or lying on the street for prolonged periods of time. Which might work. Manning-up doesn't seem to be an option for sensitive residents.
