Just when you thought you'd explored them all up pops another craft fair. It's a good thing these places offer interesting and unique wallet-friendly artwork; otherwise, we'd be forced to go to bizarre temporary Target stores (which, we hear, was a complete disaster.)
Anyway, we can't get enough of these holiday-inspired excuses to peruse the vendor booths. This weekend be sure to check out the Renegade Craft Fair which is returning to the Fort Mason Center's Herbst Pavilion just in time for the last-minute Christmas buying rush. The Renegade Craft Fair regularly travels across the states, setting up shop in Brooklyn, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco and hosts every DIY medium from knit mittens to jewelry and clothing. There's also a plethora of housewares, comics, bath products, silk-screened shirts and way more where that came from from over 150 indie vendors. Combine all that with free entry, it's not a bad way to spend the weekend in our increasingly chilly city.
What: Renegade Craft Fair
Where: Fort Mason Center, Herbst Pavilion, 300 Gaven St
