Not to outdo his father, who has his own share of legal troubles, Nikolai Bonds, 19, the son of former Giants great Barry Bonds, was arrested on Saturday night, booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.
Police spokeswoman Nicole Acker tells Associated Press that Nikolai Bonds "was taken into custody after allegedly throwing a door knob at his 45-year-old mother," Sun Bonds. The little rapscallion also allegedly "smashed pictures and vases, causing about $400 worth of damage" at her Menlo Park home.
He was released the same night after posting $50,000 bail.
