SFist sub-editor Leanne Maxwell is on temporary hiatus. (Psst, she's about to have an adorable little baby soon! We here at SFist HQ are thrilled about the soon-to-be bundle of joy. But until it arrives, Leanne must get her rest.) In her place, Amy Crocker will be manning, if you will, SFist Tonight and other sections of SFist.
SFist Tonight will be back in full swing come tomorrow, telling you where to dance, listen to music, see art, get trashed, and more. But for today, Crocker has this bit of Pixar-related TV event info that can be enjoyed in your very own home.
Take it away, Amy:
Tonight at 7 p.m., the ABC Family Channel will be showing twenty Pixar animated short films. Catch gems from the Emeryville studio such as Geri’s Game, the 1997 Oscar winning short about the old man who plays chess in the park by himself; or the 2001 Oscar winner about birds fighting for position on a telephone wire. So you can totally go out tonight, if you want. Or you can open up a can of soup, put on the bunny slippers you got for Christmas last year, and make an ass-groove on the couch.
The TV is calling. You know you want to answer.
