There's lots to do on this foggy three-day weekend coming up!

We have the annual Carnaval shaking up the Mission District on Saturday and Sunday. Soupstock: Food Not Bombs Convergence is a concert and conference celebrating 29 years of Food Not Bombs, providing a forum for planning future actions amid economic crisis. On Saturday, there will be a Conference from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the 5lower Shop (992 Peralta Ave), which will include speakers, workshops, panel discussions, and a film screening on how “we can do more together than any of us can do on our own.” The Concert is on Sunday at McLaren Park from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
