What with Halloween only a day away -- and with many minds focused instead on election night parties (see you at Otis, kids!) -- this sign went up recently in the Castro Muni station. Halloween in the Castro, in case you didn't know, isn't happening. The party is over. We swear. But, like, for reals. Even though all the bars and restaurants will be open in the neighborhood, the Castro? Is closed on Halloween night. So go elsewhere, yous.
