--Three people were killed in San Francisco early Saturday morning due to three shootings that took place within 40 minutes of each other. The first two fatal shootings, according to CBS 5 (via Bay City News), happened at at "Excelsior Avenue and Athens Street in the city's Excelsior neighborhood." The names of the male victims have yet to be released.
The second bout of gunfire, happening a little before 2:30 a.m., occurred at 19th Avenue and Irving Street, claiming the lives of Daly City's Jason de la Cruz, 31, and San Francisco's Derek Butch, 23. According AP, "the two men were shot after a dispute inside the restaurant over pizza." Whoa.

--A homeless man was shot to death during a drive-by shooting in the city of Richmond, and two other homeless men were wounded, after someone opened fire outside of the Church of the Living God. The suspect is described as "a black man wearing a red hooded sweatshirt," who fired several rounds a group standing outside the Florida Avenue church.
