The Celebrated Canabalizing Frog of Francisco County

The story from Fox News last week: "Killer Meat-Eating Frogs Terrorize San Francisco". Is it true that African clawed frogs have "chomped through everything from turtles to fish" down in the park? It's not everyday that Fox comments upon our little town, so we headed down to the Lily Pond (nee Quarry Lake) near the Conservatory of Flowers to see the carnage for ourselves. What did we find?
