The first one occurred early this morning at Townsend and Seventh streets when police saw a man acting suspiciously and talking to people in a jeep. When the police went to investigate, they saw that the suspect had two large butcher knives and started heading towards the police. When the man didn't stop, one of the cops fired. He was later pronounced dead at SF General. The people in the jeep were brought in for questioning as the police think there might be some sort of connection.
A little bit later, police found a body at 785 Brannan, several blocks away from the other incident. There isn't much known about that incident, but police right now are investigating if there was any connection between the two incidents.
