One Of Our Southernmost Stations Has Fallen To The Santas!

The Santas have taken Antarctica!

The Antarctic McMurdo Station is the new North Pole! Santarctica!!

Formerly Bay Area-based rabble-rouser Sandwich Girl has the pictures of this year's most southernly Santarchy rampage on her flickr photo set. Her retelling of the events is on her livejournal blog.

The whole Santarchy thing began here in San Francisco back in 1994 with the Cheap Suit Santas drinking and carousing through an unsuspecting downtown.

Now this cacophonous Santa social virus has spread globally. There is nowhere that Santa cannot reach.

Nowhere.
