Now the thing about the image is that it used to be on Tauscher's web site in that little section where everyone posts those "Your Congressperson In Action" pictures but it's been recently taken down. It's not known exactly when or why but we do know, thanks to a commenter elsewhere, that the picture was up for about four years, meaning Tauscher was okay with it enough to post it up there for all this time. You can look at that as probably the reason why she is in a bit of a spot these days. The only reason why we got the picture was because it was still tucked away somewhere in Google cache. Tauscher's site may have been scrubbed clean of the picture, but that picture now exists all over the place.

Now the story of the missing photo is getting thrown into the netroots as Calitics picked up on it. Now here’' the fun thing, they say it was because of us the photo was taken down. While we'd love to think that people in congressional offices read SFist on a regular basis and cower at the mere thought of us saying something snarky about them, they probably do not read us (although if they do, hi! And get back to work).

Oh,and interesting enough, a picture of her with Joe Lieberman was taken down too. Hmmm…

One more thing, it should be noted that not all of the netroots are against her. Some of them have rushed to her defense and pointed out that her record is rather good.
