During a vote on whether or not to accept it, possible soon-to-be City Assessor Geraldo Sandoval kicked it out to the Rules Committee because, we guess, he wanted to make sure it wasn't against the rules for people to donate money to the city. Because we just can't let rich celebrities give money to a pretty much broke city because where will it end? Danielle Steele giving money for parking garages? The Gettys helping their son's best friend become Mayor? Said Sandoval: "Gee, I wish everyone was in that position. How about an extra $80,000 to fix a median in the Bayview?"
