While "Run, Rob Reiner, Run" has a nice alliterative zing to it, the prospect of our wonderous and magical two party system leaving us no choice but to elect a Hollywood actor as Governor makes us nauseous. Nothing against actors, or Hollywood, or even Hollywood actors. They're fine people, and SFist counts many a dramaturg as friends. But we just don't see Uta Hagen laying the groundwork for effective policy makers.
We guess if you can make the movie "Kindergarden Cop" or "Bedtime for Bonzo" and survive politically, then you can appear on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and still electrify the Democratic base.
Thanks for the tip, Eric!
