After going months without a homicide in San Francisco, the last few days have brought three.

A man was fatally shot in the Bayview District on Sunday afternoon.

San Francisco police responded to a report of a shooting at 12:40 pm Sunday on Reuel Court, in the Ridgeview Terrace housing complex in the Bayview. As KRON4 reports, officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting is being treated as a homicide, and no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact the SFPD at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 and begin the message with SFPD. You may remain anonymous.

This was the third homicide in a matter of four days in the city, after a relatively nonviolent summer. A man was fatally shot in Hunters Point on Thursday, and another man was killed on Market Street outside the Warfield Theater early Saturday morning.

The Bayview incident marks the city's 21st homicide of the year to date.
