Gay Adult Film Star Says He Was Beaten Up By Other Gay Men In SF's Castro

A gay porn star says that he was assaulted by other gay men last week outside a Castro nightclub, after the men allegedly taunted him about doing porn.

It isn't too common a story in normally sex-positive San Francisco, but maybe slut-shaming is a perennial pastime.

SF-based gay adult film star Alfonso Osnaya told Out Magazine this week that he suffered a face laceration and other injuries after being assaulted by other gay men outside Beaux in the Castro.

"I got beat up last Thursday morning by a group of gay guys," Osnaya tells Out, explaining that the men recognized him and were taunting him about doing adult film work, and he engaged in some kind of "heated conversation" inside the club before the assault occurred.

"I took the bait from some judgmental comments and I was alone," Osnaya tells the publication. "They were waiting for me outside. I got knocked out, and the next thing I knew, I had the people from Beaux helping me out while the paramedics and cops did their job."

Osnaya adds, "Everyone was very sweet, and thankfully, nothing serious happened."

Osnaya further says he feels "stupid" for taking it personally, and for engaging with the aggressors at all.

"They were instigating things. They were out looking for a fight. I should've disengaged," he tells Out.

The magazine spoke to Osnaya after he posted a photo of the laceration over his eye to Instagram, saying, "This is how slut-shaming looks like."

Osnaya has been doing porn, he says, since 2021, working for SF-based companies Falcon and NakedSword, as well as Trailer Trash Boys, SayUncle, Carnal, and Men.com.

This is a rare instance of violence in the Castro, let alone queer-on-queer violence. It's unclear if the police were called, and SFist has reached out to Beaux for comment.
