- President Trump spent his first weekday at work at the White House with the three major television networks boycotting the press pool in solidarity with the journalists from CNN, Politico, and MS NOW who were banned from the grounds last week in retaliation for negative coverage. [New York Times]
- CNN, Politico, and MS NOW are now suing the Trump administration on First Amendment grounds, and they will win, if Trump doesn't back down. [CNN]
- Paramount reached a deal Monday to settle the lawsuit brought by California and 11 other states that sought to stop its planned acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, after David Ellison was stamping his feet and threatening to leave California as recently as last week. [New York Times]
