Thursday Morning What's Up: Duplex Fire In San Jose Leads to Roof Collapse

BART halted all Green Line service Thursday morning between Berryessa and Daly City as it makes some equipment repairs. This is the third consecutive day of trouble in the BART system, following a substation fire at Daly City Station on Tuesday, and subsequent problems on Wednesday. [KPIX]
Firefighters rescued an unknown number of people from a dramatic residential fire Thursday morning in San Jose. The two-alarm fire broke out just before 6 am in a duplex on the 2900 block of Union Avenue, and firefighters had to withdraw from the building when its roof began to collapse; the cause of the fire is not known.
