- After canceling plans last year to develop an office building in Dogpatch for his off-court business Thirty Ink, Steph Curry has officially sold the property at 600 20th Street that he purchased in 2024. He still turned a nice profit though: He bought the property for $8.5 million two years ago, and sold it for $11 million this week. [Chronicle]
- The Monterey County Sheriff's Office says it has found the car associated with the Amber Alert that was issued for the 14-year-old girl, whom, it's believed, was impregnated by her father and is on the run with him after giving birth by the side of the road last week and killing the child. [KTVU]
- A local paleontologist made a big discovery in San Mateo County, finding a fully intact tooth (a molar) from a Pacific mastodon, "in immaculate condition," which she found lying in a creek bed. [KRON4]
National:
- President Trump's planned trip to Dallas for his fake "Midterm Convention" with fellow Republicans was delayed Wednesday after the emergency slide on his new Air Force One deployed, apparently in error. Trump took the old Air Force One to Texas instead. [CBS News]
- As Hurricane Lowell passed by on Tuesday, it caused widespread damage, power outages, and downed trees on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. [Associated Press]
- There are now four Americans in the semifinals at the US Open, after Coco Gauff defeated Mirra Andreeva today. [New York Times]

- This Tiki cocktail guy with a YouTube channel, Spike's Breezeway Cocktail Hour, paid a recent visit to the last remaining Trader Vic's in the country, which is of course on a pier in Emeryville. It's a shadow of the once popular original in SF's Tenderloin, which helped give birth to the entire Tiki trend, and the final one of its kind in what was, at one point, a chain.
