Here's the Complete Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Day-By-Day Lineup for 2026

Here's the Complete Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Day-By-Day Lineup for 2026

The full lineup for San Francisco's favorite free music festival is now out, and we now know who's playing on which day the first weekend in October.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is coming up in just a few short weeks, and this year's lineup includes notable newcomers as well as returning stars, including Los Lobos, Molly Tuttle, Mavis Staples, Allison Krauss, My Morning Jacket, Gillian Welch, and of course, Emmylou Harris.

The festival is happening Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4, in the meadows of Golden Gate Park — much of the same footprint as Outside Lands, minus the Polo Field. And, as always, it is completely free to attend, which generally means planning to arrive early and stake out some grass with a lawn chair or two — committing to one stage for the day will save some headaches, but you will miss whatever's not on that stage!

We still don't know the schedule of performances and who's on what stage — that will arrive on September 22 — but the full day lineups can be seen below.

The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival was founded and endowed by Warren Hellman, the namesake of what's now Hellman Hollow in Golden Gate Park, and had its first outing in 2001.

This year's festival is kicking off with a Thursday night tribute concert to festival regular Steve Earle at The Masonic, and resale tickets are available for that on Ticketmaster.
