- There have been rumblings on Reddit for the last couple months over a movie being shot in Golden Gate Park, with Channing Tatum being spotted on-set, and SFGate just got a bunch of new details about the film. The movie will be called Josephine and it seems like more of an indie movie, there’s an eight-year-old San Francisco native playing the title role, and Tatum will star alongside Gemma Chan (Crazy Rich Asians, Captain Marvel) as the little girl’s parents. - SF Giants pitcher Logan Webb and outfielder Heliot Ramos were both just named to the National League All Star team, for the All-Star Game coming up next Tuesday, July 16, at 5 pm PT. - There’s another SF mayoral debate scheduled for tonight, but Sup. Aaron Peskin is refusing to participate again, as the debate is sponsored by groups funded through a highly partisan political action committee that clearly hates Peskin. If you’re still interested, though, the debate is at 7 pm Monday night, will be broadcast on KTVU’s YouTube channel and KTVU Plus (Channel 36), and moderated by KTVU’s Amber Lee. [KTVU]
- Those nearly 500 surveillance cameras Gavin Newsom just had put up in the East Bay are apparently already paying dividends, as an alleged road rage shooter from an incident on I-80 westbound near Treasure Island was quickly apprehended after firing the shots. [KGO]
