• Flight cancellations and delays are piling up at Bay Area airports for those trying to travel to the Midwest, due to blizzard conditions there. Chicago's O'Hare and Midway airports are seeing hundreds of cancellations, meanwhile, but at SFO there were 11 cancelled flights as of early Thursday morning. [KTVU]
  • There were two small earthquakes in the East Bay on Wednesday. The second one, a 3.3M quake around 6:20 p.m. centered under the southwestern edge of Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park in Union City, caused BART delays as tracks were inspected for damages. [Bay Area News Group]
  • One person was left in critical condition following a carjacking and crash in Fremont on Sunday. The carjacked vehicle had three juveniles in it, none of whom could be identified as the initial carjacking suspect, and it struck a pickup truck on I-680, causing a person sitting unrestrained in the truck bed to be ejected.
