A female hiker fell to her death off a hiking trail near Mori Point in Pacifica on Sunday.

The woman, who has been identified as 45-year-old Yvonne Estrada Rogan, was hiking a trail in Mori Point Park around 9:40 a.m. on Sunday when witnesses say they saw her trip and fall off a bluff, landing on Rockaway Beach below. First responders found her there unresponsive, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, as KTVU reports.

Mori Point Park is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and contains a series of trails, many of which intersect, around the promontory called Mori Point.

A GoFundMe page that was set up to help with funeral expenses says that Rogan leaves behind a husband and son, as well as her mother.

"Von was a motivator, an inspiration and a go getter," the page reads. "Anyone who knows her has been touched by her love and strength."

Friend Margarette Cruz writes, "Thank you for your friendship sis. Your whole being was a vibe and I love you for it. There will never be another to fill your shoes."
